品質如山
品山主理人 Peter 喜愛山林，從事登山活動。對他而言，山不只是風景，更代表一種穩定、厚實與經得起時間考驗的力量。行走山林之間時，他總是觀察自然的比例、光影、材質與環境之間的關係。
Peter, the founder of Pin Shan, loves the mountains and hiking. To him, a mountain is more than scenery; it stands for steadiness, solidity and strength that endures. On the trail, he observes nature's proportions, light and materials, and how they relate to their surroundings.
這份對山林的喜愛，逐漸成為品山建設對建築的想像。期許每一件作品，在結構與施工品質上，都能如山一般穩固踏實；在設計與空間規劃上，取鏡於自然，不刻意堆砌形式，而是從尺度、材質、光線與環境之中，找到耐看而舒適的平衡。
This love of the mountains became Pin Shan's vision for architecture: structures as solid as a mountain in build quality, and designs that take their cue from nature. No forced forms, but a lasting, comfortable balance of scale, material, light and setting.
「品山」二字，不只是品牌名稱，也代表我們對建築的期待——

規劃理念
品山規劃個案時，總是習慣從「裡面」開始思考。
We always begin planning from the inside.
從內部配置出發區隔空間，尋求符合日常生活人體的尺度，才開始決定開窗位置、採光方向、外觀造型。建築師、室內設計師、營造廠從一開始就在一起開會檢討。也就是說，建築的外表不是先被決定的，而是從生活一點一點長出來，這樣由內而外的規劃方式，讓每一扇窗、每一個空間尺度，都有它存在的理由，更貼近居住者。
We start from the interior layout, dividing space to suit everyday life and human scale, and only then decide window positions, daylight and the exterior form. Architects, interior designers and builders review the design together from day one. In other words, the exterior is not decided first; it grows out of everyday life. Planning from the inside out gives every window and every dimension a reason to exist, bringing the home closer to those who live in it.
生活裡，我們相信每個人的心裡，都留著一小塊屬於自然的位置。人會嚮往綠意、陽光、風吹過樹葉的感覺，也會希望生活能偶爾慢下來，回到簡單、舒服的狀態。但真正的居住，不會是到野外。因此，品山在做的是在城市生活與自然之間，找到一個剛剛好的距離。可能是一座小小的院子、一方陽台，也可能只是從窗戶望出去的一片綠意；不需要很大，卻能讓人在日常生活裡，感受到自然就在身邊。
We believe everyone keeps a small place in their heart for nature. We long for greenery, sunlight and wind in the leaves, and for life to slow down now and then. Yet real living does not happen in the wild. So Pin Shan looks for just the right distance between city life and nature: a small courtyard, a balcony, or simply a view of green from the window. Not large, but enough to feel nature close by every day.
在品山的規劃裡，我們總會試著留下一些這樣的「小天地」，讓綠意進入生活，讓光線、風景與空間產生關係。讓住在城市裡的人，依然可以擁有一小片屬於自己的自然。
In every Pin Shan plan, we try to leave such a “small world”, letting greenery into daily life and connecting light, view and space, so city dwellers can still have a little nature to call their own.
這不是刻意營造的風景，而是希望住宅在滿足生活機能之外，也能回應人內心對自然最簡單的嚮往。
It is not scenery for show, but a home that, beyond everyday function, answers our simplest longing for nature.
